We drove down from northern California for a weekend getaway and caught a Sunday afternoon concert at the hall. The building itself is absolutely stunning - the way the light hits those stainless steel panels creates this incredible shimmer that changes throughout the day. The acoustics inside were phenomenal, and everyone around us seemed genuinely invested in the performance. Only minor complaint is that parking was a bit of a hassle and prices were steep, but it's worth dealing with for an experience like this.

Parking was reasonable, exiting was easy and only $10...maybe the Sunday matinee rate...
Concessions are available but over priced, seating is tight with long rows and no middle aisle (expect to stand a few times), and storage space is basically nonexistent.
Make sure to walk the courtyard on the third level. There are great views of DTLA buildings, garden art and intimate seating arrangements.
Abundant ushers, prepared, and very helpful, especially when it comes to clearly explaining what not to do.
But once the orchestra begins, every seat has a spectacular view, the acoustics are unreal, and the music makes it all worth it. 🎶
